Handpicked tussar silk — free pan-India delivery on every order
Tussar silk (also called Kosa silk) is produced from the cocoons of wild Antheraea silkworms found in the forests of Jharkhand, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh. Unlike cultivated mulberry silk, Tussar has a natural, earthy texture and a warm golden-beige colour that accepts natural and vegetable dyes with exceptional richness. Tussar sarees are a favourite canvas for hand-painted folk arts — Madhubani, Kalamkari, Warli, and Sujani embroidery are all stunning on Tussar. They are lighter and more breathable than heavy silks, making them suited to daily wear, office, and semi-formal occasions.
